The voltage protector is an essential safeguard for high-speed permanent magnet motors. It protects the servo drive from damage caused by the motor’s high back EMF in scenarios where the motor experiences sudden power loss or loses driver control at high speeds. ServoVc features an advanced, instantaneous protection circuit design that requires no external power source. As soon as the voltage reaches the preset threshold—within just 100μS—it activates to shield the drive from high-voltage surges, with automatic reset capability. Additionally, ServoVc remains unaffected by the motor’s weak-magnetic-field function, making it even more convenient to use.
